Letter from the Chaplain

BBS Mr. Toni - Co-principal of Administration and Operations

“… let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (from Matthew 5)

As I write down these words, I am grateful that I’m not writing about merely a school, but a shining lighthouse.

Having the above verse from God’s word as our leading guide, the Beirut Baptist School is a center of excellence; a lighthouse I may say.

The pillars for such a statement are our high academic standard, high ethos, and high interpersonal skills shaped by grace, compassion and stewardship.

We, as BBS teachers, staff, administrators and managers all work together to realize one and only one goal; to keep reflecting all the academic and ethical values which make our school worthy of its “lighthouse” title. Included in these values of ours, is our parallel focus on both our students and their parents.

Our BBS parents have always been our biggest partners and champions. Only hand in hand we can achieve the highest standard in education and character development for each unique student and child.

As I reminisce on the passing years, looking forward to all the coming ones, I pray that our bright light, resembles God’s light more and more by each passing year.
