At BBS we believe that our educators are life-long learners. During the past 2 months they attended several Professional Development (PD) workshops about best practices in assessment, play based learning and the importance of integration. Therefore, PD sessions are important and ongoing process at BBS and IBPYP that prepare the educators to develop and expand upon their skills and knowledge.
Mommy and Daddy,
Let me tell you about the adventures we had at “Treasure Island”. We prepared and baked our own cookies. We climbed a high wall and felt proud when we reached the top. We drove cars on a carting track. Oh! We also enjoyed decorating our clay castle and teddy bear in the art area.
We had such a wonderful time there!
سافر طلاب الصف السادس الاساسي في المدرسة المعمدانية الانجلية بالتاريخ وغاصوا في الماضي من خلال زيارة المتحف الوطني في بيروت بمشاركة مرشدين سياحيين ، وقد تعرّف الطلاب على ماضي بلادهم . جمعت هذه الزيارة في طياتها الاكتشاف والمعرفة والثقافة بالترفيه.
Mommy and Daddy,
Check out what we did! We rode the bus and had lots of fun on the way. We sang, laughed and saw all the vehicles we learned about at school. When we arrived, we each drove a car at “Playtown” and enjoyed creating a colorful piece of art. There were lots of toys and play areas to explore and share with our lovely friends.
We had a great time!
At the Microsoft competition among Lebanese Educators who are using technology in their classrooms (LIE) and that was hosted by Microsoft, ITLS, and the Ministry of Education, Mr. Dakhlallah Obeidy secured the second place and was invited to attend the Microsoft Annual E2 conference which will be held in Paris.
