Health week was very special at BBS.
It gave K3 and Grade 1 learners the opportunity to learn about the nurse’s role and practice some of it. They also received a Health Card with their height, weight, heart rate and blood pressure.
K3 learners had a spectacular day on “Story Character’s Day”. They shared their stories and told their friends about their favorite characters. Some learners made up their own stories. They drew the characters and presented their stories in an amazing way. Others brought objects and talked about them. A prince charming brought a princess’s shoe and acted out the Cinderella story. Another child brought pottery and taught his friends how to make porridge. They were so creative!
Some learners came dressed up as princes and princesses; while others wore superhero costumes. They just looked marvelous!
K1 students went to “Playo”. This is what they said about their trip:
“We made our own chocolate tiramisu and it was, YUMMY!”
“We met the characters and enjoyed the show. We learned ‘Recycling helps keep our world clean’.”
“We danced and rode a ‘Choo, Choo Train’ all around the place. That was an exciting ride!”
“We climbed the maze all the way to the top and back. That was so cool!”
Mommy and Daddy,
Our trip to “Treasure Island” was amazing. We raced in cars and challenged each other to climb up a wall. We felt like real bakers, artists, racers, and mountain climbers. We enjoyed the time we’ve spent there.
Preschool learners sang, recited poems and danced to show how thankful and blessed they are for having such wonderful mommies.
