The BBS Anti-Cyberbullying Campaign was a huge success! Our students learned about the impact of cyberbullying. They also learned about the ways to prevent and respond to it. We held counseling sessions using real-life stories. Moreover, we did different activities to create awareness and encourage learners to be proactive in standing against cyber-bullying!
What started as a Public Communication course with Mrs. Nadine Maatouk for the Grade 12 High School program evolved into a school wide project.

Today is the international day of persons with disabilities, and 24 BBS learners were invited to sing the Lebanese national anthem at the Presidential Palace. There, the ministry of education and higher education, in partnership with UNICEF held an official ceremony under the theme “Towards an inclusive Lebanon: Education, a right for all.” In the presence of his Excellency President General Michel Aoun and The First Lady of Lebanon Nadia Aoun, an inclusive BBS choir composed of both children with special needs and their peers sang with confidence, joy and honor. Our talented group of singers were the perfect representation of what it means to provide equal opportunities towards an inclusive Lebanon. Today was a memorable day and a historic step towards inclusion nationwide. At BBS we are proud to continue to model this value.
بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، رعى فخامة رئيس الجمهورية العماد ميشال عون واللبنانية الاولى السيدة ناديا عون ووزارة التربية والتعليم العالي ومنظمة يونيسف بالتعاون مع المركز التربوي للبحوث والانماء إحتفالا رسميا بعنوان “نحو لبنان دامج: التعليم حق للجميع”.
خلال الإحتفال، ناشد المتعلمون ذوو الإحتياجات الخاصة، المعنيين وطالبوا بحقهم بالتعليم بغض النظر عن الإختلافات، كما استهل الحفل تلامذة Beirut Baptist School الدامجة بالنشيد الوطني اللبناني.
إن مركز SKILD Center يشكر الجهود من أجل تحقيق الدمج التربوي والإجتماعي.
Despite the many efforts made in Lebanon to break the stigma of mental health, our institutions remain to have a big responsibility in raising awareness and continuing the healthy conversations to recognize symptoms and shamelessly addressing disorders. This is why Dr. Michel Nawfal, a Mental Health Professional, Medical Doctor and Clinical Psychologist, addressed BBS parents and members of its community on the topic of women’s mental health. It was a very engaging and informative session that we hope everyone enjoyed!
The proceeds of this year’s BBS annual bake sale, held by the elementary department, went to the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL). The objective of this event was to instill a sense of community responsibility in our learners. Today, three Gr. 6 learners represented the love of BBS to the CCCL community. We commend all the BBS family for their overwhelming participation and support. Thank you for your caring hearts!
لأنّنا نؤمن بالتطوّر المستمرّ ونسعى دائمًا إلى تحقيق الأفضل، سنعتمد منصّة Kutubee للعام الدّراسيّ 2018-2019، مع تحديثات عدّة على صعيديْ الشّكل والمضمون. وفي هذا الإطار، أقيمت ورشة عمل لمرحلة الروضات والمرحلة الابتدائيّة.
وقد حصلت المدرسة على مجسّم تذكاريّ لفوزها في المركز الثّالث في متوسّط عدد الكتب المقروءة للعام 2017-2018.
BBS hosted its annual College Fair. Twelve universities participated in the fair. Moreover, Grade 11 and 12 students were really pleased to be able to meet with university representatives and ask important questions. Thank you Waznat, thank you Rowyna Homsy.
BBS, a member of the Association of Evangelical Schools in Lebanon, proudly celebrated, along with 18 other Evangelical schools, the distinguished achievements of our 218 students in the Lebanese Baccalaureate official exams. Our keynote speaker MP Neemet Frem said: “Lebanon does not look like you right now, but you have this opportunity to work towards a better Lebanon, one that exemplifies the outstanding character, academic readiness, and professionalism that you have embodied so well to get to this moment.” MP Edgard Trabulsi participated in honoring the top three achievers and our student Karen Sweid was one of them. Much appreciation to all our teachers, educators, parents, and above all our students !
BBS ran the marathon with many of its educators, learners, and their parents. We ran for SKILD Center and BBS SMART Program.
Our Grade 6 explorers visited “The Little Engineer” where they attended the “Rymco-Little Engineer Automotive Workshop”. Learners had the opportunity to participate in a 90-min workshop session where they explored the automotive industry and became informed about the principal systems that constitute a car. They were also engaged in an assembly line demonstrating real-life examples of how cars are put together in automobile factories.
